Epoxy Resin Jewellery: Crafting Spiritual Harmony

Why I Started Working with Resin

A handcrafted 7 Chakra crystal charm with sacred herbs, including lavender, guine, and rue, embedded in epoxy resin to balance energy and chakras.

At first, epoxy resin was just another material I stumbled upon in my search for new ways to express creativity. I didn’t yet know why I felt drawn to it — only that there was something mysterious, almost magnetic, about the way it captured light and preserved whatever it touched.

I experimented, I played, but I still couldn’t quite explain what resin meant to me. Until one night, a dream came to me…

The Dream That Revealed Its Essence in Epoxy Resin Jewellery

In that dream, resin appeared to me as a vessel capable of absorbing the energy around you, a quiet container that harmonises and transforms it.

Yet, when I placed flowers and herbs within it, something extraordinary unfolded: they became living anchors of light, balancing and aligning the chakras of those who wore the pieces.

Each element carried its own sacred gift:

  • Roses and pink petals nurtured love and compassion, harmonising the heart chakra.

  • Lavender and calming herbs eased the mind, soothing the third-eye and crown chakras.

  • Protective leaves like rue created a shield around the aura, stabilising energy fields.

  • Crystals embedded within the resin amplified these vibrations, guiding body, mind and spirit into harmony.

The resin transformed into a cosmic container, preserving the natural wisdom of plants and stones. Each creation became a tiny temple, where the energy of Earth and Spirit converged.

What is Epoxy Resin Jewellery and What is it Used For?

Epoxy resin is a versatile material widely used in both art and industry. Simply put, it is a liquid that cures into a solid, durable, and glossy substance.

The Formula

Epoxy resin is produced through a chemical reaction between epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A, resulting in DGEBA (diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A), the base unit of the resin. The resin is usually combined with a hardener (Component B), which triggers a chemical reaction called curing. During this process, the liquid transforms into a solid polymer that is highly resistant and stable.

How It Works

  • Component A (resin): the main body of the material.

  • Component B (hardener): reacts with the resin to form a rigid structure.

  • Curing process: chemical reaction that links the molecules into a strong, durable network.

Once cured, epoxy resin becomes a solid, inert material that is perfect for embedding natural elements, crystals, and metals, creating jewellery, art pieces, and orgonites.

Resin as More Than Plastic in Epoxy Resin Jewellery

While resin is technically a type of plastic, when a crystal, flower or herb is embedded within, it transcends being merely a material. It becomes a vessel of energy, preserving, amplifying, and organising the natural vibrations of the elements it holds. This is what transforms a simple polymer into a meaningful, spiritual creation.

Common Uses

  • Jewellery making: captures flowers, herbs and crystals, creating one-of-a-kind pieces.

  • Decorative art: coatings for tables, paintings, or sculptures.

  • Crafts and DIY projects: perfect for embedding objects or creating colourful designs.

  • Industrial applications: adhesives, coatings and protective layers.

In jewellery, epoxy resin is especially valued because it:

  • Preserves delicate natural elements like flowers and leaves.

  • Protects crystals while amplifying their energy.

  • Creates a clear, glossy finish that enhances the beauty of every piece.

  • Acts as a medium for personalised, energy-filled creations, such as orgonites.

Understanding epoxy resin helps you see not only its technical qualities, but also its role in transforming natural materials into jewellery with spiritual and energetic purpose.

How Epoxy Resin Jewellery Balances Chakras and Energy

In my work, resin is far more than a medium. It becomes the vessel that holds flowers, herbs, crystals and metals, creating pieces often referred to as orgonites.

In spiritual practice, orgonites are considered energy transmuters:

  • Resin attracts energy from the surrounding environment.

  • Metals conduct and reflect energy.

  • Crystals, under the pressure of resin, generate the piezoelectric effect, releasing positive vibrations that transform stagnant or negative energy into beneficial flow.

In this way, every piece acts as a constant energetic filter, bringing harmony and well-being without needing cleansing or recharging.

The Sacred Geometry of Nature in Epoxy Resin Jewellery

Every flower and herb carries its own sacred geometry, a natural blueprint filled with harmony and wisdom. Encapsulating them in resin preserves not only their beauty but also their energetic essence, a secret of nature captured forever.

Each piece becomes a meeting point between art, science and spirituality, a bridge between the visible and the invisible.
